How to select suitable belt conveyor?

Belt conveyor is one of the common transport equipment, but we usually don't know how to choose the suitable type in the first time. Here, Yingda Heavy Industry will introduce some selection skills:

Belt conveyor mainly used for the continuous transport of bulk and box materials, which adopts the principle of friction. In the production process of various industries, belt conveyor plays a transitional role, it is also an important auxiliary equipment in the whole production line. Then how we choose the belt conveyor is absolutely very important.

1. Confirm applied industry, belt type, belt width etc.

For example, rubber belt is suitable for -15~40℃ working environment, particle temperature less than 50℃;

Plastic belt featured in oil resistant, acid resistant and alkali resistant, but it’s more likely to skidding and  ageing population, poor climate adaptability.  

Belt conveyor widely used in mine, metallurgy, chemical and other industry. Large transport capacity, simple structure and convenient operation.

2. Choose the correct belt speed.

Long horizontal belt conveyor matched up with fast speed;

Larger inclined angle, shorter transport length, lower belt speed.
